What is the summer financial seminar series?
An opportunity for you to beef up your financial knowledge and learn about financial issues specific to Wisconsin public school employees, including:

retirement planning

the basics of investing

maximizing retirement savings options.
You will learn tips for being a better consumer of financial products, and gain knowledge that will help you improve your financial condition and sense of well-being.

Why should I attend?
Half of U.S. adults received a failing grade for their knowledge of basic economic concepts, according to a 2008 survey conducted by the National Council on Economic Education. Studies also show that there is a direct correlation between financially literacy and the quality of the financial decisions one makes.
You are more likely improve your financial situation by increasing your financial knowledge.

No, it’s free! These educational opportunities are a benefit of your union membership.

Who will be presenting the seminars?
A representative from WEA Trust Member Benefits (Member Benefits) will be delivering these presentations.
