Teachers for a New Era at UW-Milwaukee and the NEA Foundation invite you to become one of 30 new teachers selected to participate in this prestigious initiative for 1st and 2nd year teachers at NEA Focus schools.
Twice monthly sessions will be led by Marleen Pugach, Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at UWM, and Jennifer Wilson, an Associate Lecturer in the School of Education at UWM with 11 years of experience in MPS. Other UWM faculty will be available to share their expertise, including faculty from a variety of academic content areas.
You must be a 1st or 2nd year teacher in an NEA Focus School to participate; we especially encourage the participation of new bilingual teachers and special education teachers along with all regular classroom teachers at all grade levels and content areas.
