Constitution Committee

Drafts amendments, and recommends action to the MTEA Executive Board. Assists members who request help in drafting amendments. Usually meets in February to complete its tasks, in one or two work sessions. Pat O'Mahar is the staff liaison.

 

Specific objectives for the 2008-09 school year:

1. Convene at least thirty (30) days prior to the deadline for submitting proposed amendments to assist individual members in drafting amendments.
2. Review the constitution and draft amendments as directed by the MTEA Executive Board.
3. Draft proposed amendments presented by members into proper form, including pros and cons, and recommend approval or disapproval to the MTEA Executive Board.
