Substitute Teacher Committees

These committees are for our substitute teacher members only.

MTEA staff member Cheryl Barczak works with our substitute teacher members.

Balloting - Counts ballots where written ballots are required by the MSTA Constitution

Budget - Develops recommendations for submission to the Joint Budget Committee

Collective Bargaining - Update information and statistics related to contract negotiations and assist the bargaining team during negotiations as needed.

Constitution - Reviews the constitution and drafts amendments as directed by the MSTA Executive Council.

Education/In-Service - Plans workshops for substitute teachers

Membership - Plans the annual general membership meeting and shares membership campaign ideas with the teacher Membership Committee.

Nominations - Recruits, interviews, and recommends candidates for each elected position as outlined in the MSTA Constitution.
