Action Research Fellow Opportunity

Become an Action Research Fellow

Milwaukee Public Schools has 10 Action Research Fellows funded by the NEA Foundation Grant to Close the Achievement Gaps in MPS.

Action research is simple set of ideas and techniques that will introduce you to the power of systematic reflection on your practice. Action research is a way for you to continue to grow and learn by making use of your own experiences.

There are 5 steps to action research:

  1. Make the commitment (call to inquiry)
  2. Design a study (questions and answers)
  3. Make sense of experience (data and analysis)
  4. Begin again (new and better questions)
  5. Improve your practice (lessons from experience)

Fill out the application if you are interested in becoming an Action Research Fellow.
