Objectives: To understand three demographic megatrends (race, immigration and new cultural influences stemming from immigration) as they affect schools.   

• To understand the business case for diversity and cultural competence in education. 
• To understand how “connections” can improve relationships. 
• To understand how our Attitudes Towards Differences Influence behaviors towards others.
