Dental Insurance

Eligibility

Employees (and dependents) eligible for health insurance are also eligible for dental insurance and enroll on the same application form.

Two Plans Available

Anthem (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) is a traditional plan, allowing you to go to the dentist of your choice. You pay at least 20% of the charges for most dental services.
The CarePlus plan operates like an HMO. There are no out-of-pocket costs to you on many services. However, you are limited to treatment by CarePlus dentists only.

Premium Share Deductions

Employees pay a small amount of the premium cost for each plan. The chart below reflects the negotiated (current school year) deduction amounts which teachers, educational assistants, and accountants/bookkeepers pay each month.

Substitute teachers are deducted twice each school year. Their 6-month deductions are:
